Tension inside a disc-production factory
Dovecast Media began with a profound turning point in founder James Leong’s life.
At an optical-disc production factory, James led more than forty colleagues transferring many kinds of video into digital masters. The work brought him into contact with vast international media libraries and audiovisual commissions from major religious groups. As a Christian, he met their representatives daily. A heavy question grew within him: he was using his professional skill to help other religions communicate their teachings, while he saw few churches or pastors using the same medium. The gap filled him with tension and guilt.
